No. 3 is a long, straightaway par 4 framed on the right by a fairway bunker approximately 270 yards out and by trees along the left. The left fairway bunker is more aesthetic than strategic for the better player. An ideal tee shot played to the left-center of the fairway will open up the entire green for the second shot. A greenside bunker on the right and a green that slopes from back-right to front-left combine to make any right hole location severe. Care must be taken on this subtly sloping green.
